Futballpálya-avatót tartott a dénesfai önkormányzat és a Répcementi Sportegyesület. Az új focipályát az ETO kiváló balszélsője, az olimpiai bajnok Keglovich László adta át.
Mostantól már két hazai pályája van a Répcementi SE együttesének. Gyóró mellett ezentúl, - majd negyven évet követÅ‘en - Dénesfán is lesznek mérkÅ‘zések, miután az államalapÃtás ünnepén átadták a település új pályáját. A község polgármestere, s egyben a gárda elnöke, Takács Lajos elmondta a hatalmas szurkolótábor és az elmúlt bajnokságokban mutatott sikerek sarkallták arra, hogy megépÃtesse a Répcementi "új otthonát".
- Utoljára a hetvenes években volt itt, Dénesfán futballpálya, azonban raktárt épÃtettek a helyére. A Községház udvarán 20-30 éve parlagon hevert ez a hatalmas, ideálisnak tűnÅ‘ terület, kitűnÅ‘ helynek bizonyult egy új játéktérhez - kezdi a klub elnöke. - ElsÅ‘sorban nem a csapatnak, hanem a község fiataljainak szerettünk volna örömet okozni ezzel, s azt hiszem, sikerült is! Ezentúl két hazai helyszÃne lesz a Répcementinek, a bajnokságot Gyóróban kezdtük, de most szeretnénk "bejáratni" az új pályát, Ãgy az Å‘szi idény legtöbb mérkÅ‘zését itt játsszuk majd - mondta befejezésül Takács Lajos.
Az ünnepélyes megnyitót követÅ‘en a Haladás B és a Beled csapatával játszott rövidÃtett mérkÅ‘zést a Répce-parti együttes, s nem kellett sokáig várni a "gyepavató" elsÅ‘ hazai góljára, amelyet Bata Gábor rúgott a 25. percben.
